As walkers progress through Saint-Germain-des-Bois, a similar pattern follows: moderate rains with brief sunny intervals and increasingly cold nights. At Champlemy, freezing rain continues with overcast skies dominating the days, broken up by the sun peeking out near the end. The journey to La Charité-sur-Loire sees a continuation of overcast conditions, though heavier rain showers become more frequent, particularly toward the latter part of this section.
Baugy introduces heavier precipitation with rain varying from moderate to heavy. Bourges sees periods of sun but interspaced with significant rainfall particularly during mid-day. The rain lessens towards Chârost with colder mornings, while Neuvy-Pailloux and Châteauroux experience alternating clear and cloudy periods with temperatures slowly increasing. Continuing to Velles and Argenton-sur-Creuse, the weather shifts to a mix of sun and clouds, with episodes of moderate rain becoming less intense as walkers move forward.
At Gargilesse and Crozant, rain showers prevail, with sunny periods offering respite between downpours. The persistent pattern of rain continues into La Souterraine and Bénévent-l'Abbaye, where moderate rains regularly partner the cloudy skies. The weather settles slightly around Limoges where brief sunny intervals occur. La Coquille, however, brings back heavier rains, especially as the trail approaches Thiviers. As the path nears Périgueux and onward to Bergerac, fine weather alternates with heavy rain showers, requiring swift adaptations. Temperatures generally climb as walkers continue toward Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, eventually leading to Saint-Ferme and La Réole where clouds and light rain grace the skies, accompanied by ever-rising temperatures. The journey through Auros, Bazas, Captieux, and Roquefort maintains this climatic rhythm, before reaching Mont-de-Marsan, Saint-Sever, and Hagetmau where the trend of rain showers and patches of sunshine finally gives way to clearer skies in Sault-de-Navailles, Orthez, Sauveterre-de-Béarn, and Ostabat.
