The weather in places like Vézelay Saint-Germain-des-Bois, Champlemy, and La Charité-sur-Loire is often sunny, although it may rain sometimes. Typical temperatures range from 22°C to 25°C, with colder lows of 12°C to 13°C.
The next part of the trail, through Bourges, Chârost, Neuvy-Pailloux, and up to Châteauroux, also has mostly sunny weather. However, there can be more cloudy days too. The temperature during this part is usually between 23°C and 24°C, dipping to 13°C or 14°C. There's not much rain.
The weather begins to change more in places like Argenton-sur-Creuse, La Souterraine, and Bénévent-l'Abbaye. Here, it could rain more often. The temperature also gets a bit lower, between 21°C to 24°C, with a colder low of around 11°C to 13°C.
In the next part, between Le Pont du Dognon, Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, Limoges, and Les Cars, the weather isn't as predictable. The sun, clouds, and rain can all show up. Sometimes it can rain a lot. Temperatures average between 19°C to 21°C, with lows around 10°C to 12°C.
The last part of the trail, through Bergerac, Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, Saint-Ferme, and Bazas, usually has more sunny and partly cloudy days. However, there can still be moderate to heavy rain. The temperature can get up to 24°C and go down to around 12°C to 13°C.
In short, the Camino de Vézelay trail generally has nice weather, but you should also be ready for occasional rain. The temperature can also change quite a bit as the trail goes on.
