Starting from Vézelay, in Burgundy, and going through Nevers, on the Voie de Vézelay in April, the average temperature is around 13-15°C. The weather can change a lot, sometimes sunny and sometimes cloudy, and it may rain. The average daily rainfall changes from 0.5-2.6 mm.
When you pass through the middle part of France, especially places like Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier and Ainay-le-Château, the temperature can go up to 16°C. Here, you'll see the sun more, but there might still be some rain.
In the Berry province, including La Châtre and Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, the temperature stays around the same. It may rain more here, with the daily average going up to about 5 mm.

In short, if you're traveling on the Voie de Vézelay through Nevers, you should prepare for changing weather. As you head south, it'll slowly get warmer. You'll have sunny, cloudy, and rainy days throughout your journey.
