Weather forecast for the Vía de la Plata in June

The journey starts in Sevilla, in the south of Spain, which is usually very hot and sunny in June. The temperatures can reach over 30°C during the day and fall to 18°C at night. It doesn't rain much there.

As you move north through the regions of Extremadura and Castile y León, the area becomes slightly cooler because of the higher altitude. Temperatures here usually stay in the high 20s during the day and fall to the mid-teens at night. The weather alternates between sunny and partly cloudy, and there's a small chance of rain, especially in Castile y León, but it usually doesn't rain much.

At the end of the route, you reach Galicia. The weather here is cooler and often a bit damp. As you get closer to Santiago de Compostela, expect lots of clouds and regular rain. However, the temperatures are usually comfortable, staying in the mid-20s during the day and falling to the low teens at night. Even though it rains more here than in other parts of the road, there are still a lot of sunny days.
