The Vía de la Plata pilgrimage starts in Sevilla, which is sunny most of the time and the temperature is usually between 20°C and 35°C.
As you move north into Extremadura, it's still mostly sunny, but there might be some rain. Temperatures range from 17°C to 36°C. Make sure to be ready in case it rains, even though it's not frequent.
Next is Castile and León, where the weather is usually sunny, but there might be more clouds and a bit more rain than in Extremadura. It tends to be a bit cooler, with temperatures around 30°C during the day and 16°C at night.
Near the Galicia border, the weather is more changeable. It can be sunny, cloudy, or rainy. Galicia is known to be a rainier region. The temperatures are also cooler and average between 14°C and 30°C.
The last part of the route goes through Galicia where you should expect cool temperatures from 13°C to 25°C, a lot of clouds, and light to moderate rain. Even so, you can still experience sunny weather here.
