If you start in Sevilla in August, the weather is usually hot and dry, around 37°C during the day, and cools down to 22°C at night. It's usually sunny with some cloudy days. This is the same for Guillena, Castilblanco de los Arroyos, and Almadén de la Plata. They hardly get any rain.
When you go north to Monesterio and Fuente de Cantos, it's a bit cooler but still sunny. Zafra and Villafranca de los Barros might have a bit of rain, but it's not common.
From Torremejía through Alcuéscar up to Cáceres, it's still sunny but relatively cooler. They also have light to moderate rain sometimes.
In the northern part of the trip, expect more rain and cooler weather. Especially in Embalse de Alcántara, Grimaldo, Carcaboso, and Aldeanueva del Camino.
Moving towards La Calzada de Béjar and Fuenterroble de Salvatierra, the temperature drops to around 30°C with cool nights. The weather is mostly sunny with few cloudy days.
Moving onto Zamora, Montamarta, and Granja de Moreruela, prepare for occasional rain showers and cloudy days, with sunny days still prevailing.
In the last bit of your journey, from Santa Marta de Tera through to Santiago de Compostela, you'll see a mix of sunny, cloudy, and rainy weather. The temperatures will drop gradually as you move further, with night times getting cooler.
Vía de la Plata route's weather is hot and sunny in the south, shifts to cooler with some rain in the middle, and cooler still with more rain as you move north. But, there will still be a lot of sunny days along the way.
