Saxony

Starting around Görlitz, expect plenty of cloud with intermittent drizzle and occasional wet snow; brief clear spells do occur but seldom last. Through Bautzen and the woods near Königsbrück and Schönfeld, the pattern swings between mostly dry stretches and bands of light rain, with colder snaps still capable of flurries. Crossing the Elbe around Großenhain and Strehla brings short heavier showers at times, balanced by mild, brighter windows. Near Leipzig and Kleinliebenau the weather stays very changeable, with quick warm-ups followed by passing showers or brief wet snow; temperatures often sit in the single digits to low teens Celsius.

Saxony-Anhalt

From Merseburg into the Saale–Unstrut valley at Freyburg and Roßbach, overcast skies are common, with light showers or drizzle on many days and dry intervals between fronts. Colder outbreaks can still deliver flurries on the open hills, but they tend to be short-lived. Continuing west toward Eckartsberga, expect a mix of cloud and sunshine with occasional heavier rain bands, then calmer breaks. Temperatures are generally cool, at times climbing into the single digits to mid-teens Celsius.

Thuringia

Leaving Stedten am Ettersberg toward Erfurt and Gotha, conditions shift quickly between low cloud and drizzle and clearer, brighter spells. Across the Thuringian Basin toward Hastrungsfeld and Eisenach, passing fronts can bring showers and, on colder days, wet snow; some days turn pleasantly mild before the next change arrives. West of Eisenach through Oberellen to the Werra valley at Vacha, showers may become more frequent at times with the odd steadier spell of rain, but long dry windows also occur. Most days feel cool, occasionally climbing into the low to mid teens Celsius during brighter spells.
