Weather forecast for the West Highland Way in April

The West Highland Way in the Scottish Highlands has a tough and varied landscape. In April, temperatures are usually cool. During the day, it’s between 5°C and 9°C, and at night it ranges from -1°C to 3°C. It often rains, but sometimes you might see the sun.

As you travel north from Milngavie to Fort William, you’ll usually see cloudy skies and different kinds of rain, from light drizzles to heavy showers. Snow can happen now and then, especially in higher and sheltered areas. There is a bit more rain as you go north, especially around Inveroran.
