From Lago di Braies into the Fanes–Sennes country, days swing between sunny openings and quick-moving showers. Climbing to Rifugio Biella it turns notably cooler and breezier on exposed ground, with frequent drizzle or steady rain, punctuated by a few heavier bursts. Crossing toward the Fanes basin, warm sunshine returns between showers, but afternoon thunder is a recurring risk. Daytime temperatures sit mostly in the teens to low 20s Celsius, with cool, sometimes cold, nights at altitude.
High on Lagazuoi and Nuvolau, conditions stay changeable: low cloud or mist in the morning lifting to brighter spells, then renewed showers or thunderstorms.
