Starting in Lorca, the weather predominantly features clear, sunny skies with temperatures peaking around 32°C. There is a brief interruption where a moderate rain shower cools things down a bit. As trekkers move to Zarcilla de Ramos, the sun continues to dominate with temperatures remaining warm, averaging 33°C. The weather in La Encarnación remains largely sunny with occasional cloud cover and a few patchy rain possibilities; the mercury hovers around the lower 30s °C. Finally, Moratalla experiences bright sunny days and temperatures rising as high as 36°C. Occasional cloud cover gives way to brief periods of patchy rain towards the end.
In Socovos, the trail offers sunny weather, occasionally interrupted by moderate or heavy rain showers, with temperatures usually exceeding 30°C. Moving to Elche de la Sierra, walkers encounter mostly sunny days, with some moderate rain at intervals cooling the climate. Riópar presents sunny to partly cloudy skies with intermittent patchy rain; temperatures reach highs around 39°C. Vianos follows a similar pattern, where rain showers pepper the sunny weather, and temperatures reach up to 39°C. Viveros experiences fluctuating weather with days of intense heat tempered by bouts of rain. In Lagunas de Ruidera, sunny weather prevails with occasional cloud cover, and temperatures max out at 39°C. Tomelloso, Alcázar de San Juan, and Madridejos all experience predominantly sunny conditions interspersed with light rain, with temperatures soaring as high as 42°C. Towards the end of the journey, Mora and Toledo continue with the trend of hot, sunny days and high temperatures although brief periods of overcast skies or patchy rain occur.
