On the Camino de Baztan path, from Bayonne to Pamplona, the weather can change a lot. Usually, the weather on this path is mild, with average high temperatures of 19°C to 22°C and lows of 10°C to 15°C in June. Most days on the journey are sunny or a little cloudy, making it a nice walk.
You should know that it often rains on this route. Light rain or even heavy rain showers can happen, which might interrupt your walk. The amount of rain can change, with averages going from as little as 0.9mm in Souraïde to a larger increase to 4.7mm in Berroeta.
As you go further into Spain and reach the city of Pamplona, it gets cloudier. You're likely to find partly cloudy to fully cloudy skies with some rain. Even with more clouds and rain, the temperatures stay like they were at the start of the journey.
In short, on the Camino de Baztan, you'll mainly walk under sun or partly cloudy skies. But, often there will be rain showers. So, it's smart to get ready for different types of weather.
