From Calenzana through Ortu to Carozzu, conditions shift quickly: low elevations see mild afternoons of 17–23°C with overcast spells and frequent showers, while the ridge cools to highs of 9–16°C and lows of 2–8°C. Rain is recurrent and sometimes heavy, with single-day totals near 26–40 mm, and Carozzu occasionally sees snowfall when highs dip to 8°C and lows to 3°C.
Across Asco Stagnu and Tighettu toward Ciottulu di i Mori, temperatures fall further, with highs of 3–16°C and lows from -5 to 9°C. Wet spells dominate, including episodes of heavy rain up to 58 mm, and multiple snowfall events at the highest points; clear breaks do occur between systems. Days with overcast and drizzle are common around Asco, while nights around Ciottulu often drop below 0°C.
Through Manganu and Petra Piana to Onda and Vizzavone, the pattern alternates between overcast, drizzle, and brighter intervals. Highs range from 1–18°C with lows from -3 to 10°C, and precipitation varies from light showers to intense bursts, peaking near 21–88 mm; light snowfall appears at times around the higher huts.
At Capanelle then Prati, overcast skies prevail with frequent drizzle and periodic moderate rain. Highs sit around 4–14°C with lows from -2 to 6°C, and precipitation occasionally turns wintry, including a snowfall event near 16 mm at Prati.
Continuing over Usciolu to Matalza, the ridge stays cool to cold, with highs of 1–14°C and lows from -5 to 9°C. Light drizzle intersperses with clearer spells, but both sectors record snowfall, including a heavier day near 12 mm at Matalza.
Around Asinau and I Paliri, conditions swing from dry breaks to substantial precipitation. Highs vary from 7–18°C with lows from -2 to 10°C, and events range from moderate rain up to 22–28 mm to notable snowfall near 36 mm at Asinau.
Descending to Conca, the air turns milder, with highs of 12–22°C and lows of 7–13°C. Skies are often mainly clear, though occasional systems bring rain up to about 23 mm.
