Valencia

In Valencia, December begins with temperatures fluctuating from 14°C to 19°C, with several sunny days easing into overcast and rainy periods. Precipitation is moderate at times, with patchy rain occasionally clearing to sunshine. As the route progresses to Algemesí, similar conditions persist with occasional rain showers and temperature variations from 12°C to 22°C.

Moixent experiences a mix of sunshine and rainy intervals, seeing temperatures between 10°C and 21°C, with significant rainfall on some days. La Font de la Figuera also reflects this pattern of sunshine interspersed with showers, with temperatures reaching up to 21°C.

Castilla-La Mancha

As the journey advances into Almansa, a variation of sunny to cloudy weather is observed with mild temperatures from 10°C to 21°C. Moving to Higueruela and Chinchilla de Montearagón, the weather sees frequent cloudy and sunny days with light rainfall, temperatures ranging from 8°C to 17°C.

Albacete and nearby areas witness intermittent rain with temperatures predominantly mild, between 8°C and 17°C. Rain becomes less frequent in La Roda, allowing clearer skies with sporadic clouds.

Castilla y León

Upon reaching Ávila, the weather turns colder, with temperatures dipping to near freezing. Despite frequent sunny spells, rain showers are regular, occasionally turning heavy. Gotarrendura and Arévalo continue to experience moderate to heavy rainfall, often accompanied by cloud cover and temperatures ranging up to 13°C.

The path through Medina del Campo, Siete Iglesias de Trabancos, and Toro sees a mix of rain showers and clear skies. Days are chillier with peaks around 12°C, with rain occasionally breaking the sequence of dry days.

Zamora experiences colder weather, with temperatures fluctuating between 6°C and 14°C, and consistent rain marking the end of the journey along the trail in December.
