The Camino del Salvador traverses high ground between León and Asturias, with long summer daylight and showers possible throughout the year. Conditions are generally more settled from late June into early October; July and September feature warm León afternoons, cooler passes, and frequent light rain in Asturias. The route transitions from the drier plateau to greener Atlantic slopes, with increasing cloud and drizzle toward Oviedo and occasional bursts of heavier rain.
