Beginning in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in March, you might encounter a range of weather conditions, including cloudy days and some rain. The temperature usually stays between 13°C at its highest and 8°C at its lowest, with rainfall averaging at 2.7 mm.
As you move forward into the Roncesvalles area, prepare for inconsistent weather, including possible occasional rain. The temperature might drop slightly to between 10-12°C during the day and 2-4°C at night. Pamplona and Puente la Reina areas, later in the route, are a bit colder with a higher chance of heavy rain.
The area between Los Arcos and Logroño sees better weather with more sunny days, but rain is still a possibility. The temperature generally stays comfortable, with highs of 12-13°C and lows around 2-3°C.
