In October, the temperatures in Lisbon are generally warm, with daily highs between 21 and 27 degrees Celsius. Most of the time, it will be sunny from Lisbon to Vila Franca de Xira, but sometimes cloudy.

As you keep walking to Azambuja and then Tomar, the weather might change more. You will still see plenty of sun, but there will be some cloudy days and maybe some rain. This will be the same as you walk through Alvaiázere to Coimbra.

When you turn north to Porto, rain gets more common, and you might see heavy showers. Towns like Grijó and Barcelos could be even colder. As you get here, you will see less sun and more rain.

When you cross into Spain, it will be colder, with highs usually not more than 21 degrees Celsius. From Tui, through Redondela and Pontevedra, it will be cloudy and rainy, but sometimes sunny.

In Santiago de Compostela, at the end of your journey, you might see everything from sun to rain and cloudy days. Daily highs will be about 18 degrees Celsius.
